Yes, to do the initial setup, but a smartphone is not required thereafter to operate Call Control Home.

Call Control Home WiFi requires either an Android or iOS device to setup Call Control Home WiFi and get it connected to your WiFi network.  Note you can use an Android or Apple tablet such as an iPad if you don't have a smart phone.

After you've completed the setup for Call Control Home, you can access your device either through the mobile app or through our web portal which is located at https://portal.callcontrol.com/.

You do not need to have a smart phone to use Call Control Home after the initial setup.
